Bangkok Tour: The Grand Palace/Rattanakosin Island

The Grand Palace is a complex of buildings at the heart of Bangkok. The palace has been the official residence of the Kings of Siam (and later Thailand) since 1782. The king, his court, and his royal government were based on the grounds of the palace until 1925. The Grand Palace is still used for official events. Several royal ceremonies and state functions are held within the walls of the palace every year. The Grand Palace is home to the Emerald Buddha as well as many restored and original artwork throughout the complex. Take your time here there is a lot to see.

^Visit Wat Phra Kaew, Temple of the Emerald Buddha, it is unquestionably one of the most exotic Buddhist temples in Thailand. At the heart of the temple itself is the most fabulous Buddha image cut from one piece of jade, it is the holiest and most revered of all religious objects in Thailand today.
^Visit the Grand Palace, an area of 218,400 sq. meters surrounded by walls 1,900 meters in length built in 1782. The palace is a mix of traditional Thai architecture and some other European styles. Within these walls are the Chapel Royal of the Emerald Buddha, the royal residences and government offices. Also included is a visit to the Royal Funeral Hall and the Royal Coronation Hall.

Bangkok Tour: Temple Tour

This trip visit the 3 most distinguished temples in Bangkok Wat Trimit, Wat Pho, and Wat Benchamabopit. Wat Trimit houses a striking 3-meter tall Golden Buddha image a gleaming, 5-ton figure of solid gold. Wat Pho houses the highly revered giant Reclining Buddha and a traditional massage school, while Wat Benjamabopit is famous for its elegant white marble facade and Buddha images lining the cloister walls behind the main chapel.

^Visit Wat Trimit, known for its famous Golden Buddha. The beautiful image of solid gold is three meters high and weighs five and a half tons.
^Continue the tour by passing through the beautiful city. You will make your way by the colorful flower market and Chinatown. The bustling business area of Chinatown is especially known for its gold jewelry shops. The atmosphere is totally changed at night when hordes of food stalls line the streets.
^Visit Wat Pho or Temple of the Reclining Buddha, founded in the 16th century, the oldest and biggest temple with the largest number of pagodas (95 in all) in the city. Wat Pho was the first open university of Thailand which offered courses in several branches of knowledge like literature, astrology, medicine and massage. It's well known for its huge Reclining Buddha, 46 m. long and 15 m. high.
^Visit Wat Benchamabopit or Marble Temple, one of the most modern works of Thai religious architecture. Graceful and tranquil, it is famous for its main chapel built of Italian marble to house a replica of Thailand's most beautiful Buddha image, Phra Phutthachinarat.

Bangkok Tour: Canal & Wat Arun

Cross the river by boat to visit Wat Arun. Located on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River, Wat Arun is among the most famous of the more than 400 Buddhist temples and monasteries in the city. The most attractive structure in this temple is the pagoda which is completely covered with pieces of multi-colored glass and Chinese porcelain. Wat Arun was restored during the brief Thonburi period to be the Royal Chapel of King Taksin. Despite that its name is “Temple of the Dawn”. It is one of the city's most famous landmarks.

Bkk Tour: Damnoensaduak Floating Market

The Damnoensaduak floating market is the most famous floating market in Bangkok it is a very attractive place. See the traditional Thai houses, the way they live by wooden boats. However you need to know in advance that the price of any floating market is 2-3 times higher than in ordinary shops and shops of Bangkok. The main value of such trips is an unusual range of experiences that will bring you much joy, but it in no way can be considered a profitable shopping. At Damnoen Saduak you can find mainly souvenirs for tourists and many fruits such as lychee, pineapple, papaya, pomelo, durian, mangosteen, and more traditional for us, melons, tangerines, oranges, bananas. Exotic Thai dishes cooked right before your eyes what can be better.

^Depart for Damnoensaduak Floating Market 110 Km west of Bangkok. Your journey commences with a drive through rice paddies and salt fields.
