^ One full day trip to Chiang Rai located 150 kilometers from Chiang Mai you will make your first stop at a hot spring. Then go to Chiang Rai to visit The Golden Triangle where three countries meet (Thai, Burma and Laos) and also visit the temple in Chiang Rai. In the afternoon, visit Mae Sai, the Burma border where you can enjoy shopping at your leisure. For the last stop before going back to Chiang Mai visit the Yao and Akha Hill tribe village.
